Jakarta, metropostnews.com - Fire incident which occur at settlement in RW 02 and 03 Angke Urban Village, Tambora Sub-district caused deep sympathy for the victims because they lost their house and properties. Furthermore, they are also lost their administration letters such as Family Card (KK), Identity card (KTP), Birth certificate and others. Moreover, the letters are important for various needs and matters.
Therefore, the victims urge Sub-Department of West Jakarta Population and Civil Registry (Dukcapil) to open administration service for KTP, KK, or Birth Certificate in former location of fire incident on Wednesday (5/25) ago.
Dayat (45), a fire victim who lives in RT 04/03 stated that the fire have burned house and convection tools which becomes his source of life earnings. He must lose 10 sewing machines, travo and clothes. He plans to borrow funds from Bank to rebuild his business. But his plan is useless due to his identity card was gone. Therefore, he expects that Sub-Department of Dukcapil provides KTP service for the fire victims soon, Friday (5/27) ago.
Beweng (55), another victim who lives in RT 08/02 also feel the same way because he must use it for his children needs to continue their study in Junior High School (SMP) and Senior High School (SMA).
Answering resident’s complaints, Head of West Jakarta Sub-Department of Dukcapil, Ahmad Fauzi expressed that his official has instructed the units to held administration service in former location of fire incident Angke Urban Village to collecting the victim’s data. “Basically, if the data is valid, residents will get fast and easy service. We will also give all administration letters for free to the fire victims,” said Ahmad.
As planned before, two mobile KTP cars will be prepared to serve 240 householders of fire victims. “Later on, we will hold mobile service in Angke Urban Village. In principle, we will do anything to accelerate the administration process or resident’s identity card,” he continued. (dya)
